Raise your hand if your dog would do {LITERALLY} anything for food?! From the moment we brought Emmy home we knew right away that her obsession with “crunchies” was intense. We finally just got her a slow-feeder bowl because she could clear out her food in under 17 seconds. I laugh when I hear people say they leave food out all day for their doggy to graze on while they’re gone at work. HA! There’s no “grazing” in this house.

Being that Emmy is like my child, and I like to spoil her as much as I can, I decided that teaming up with Freshpet was something I could never turn down. We have always been conscious of what we feed her, so I was interested in learning more about their company. Yes, thats right… that means No table scraps (and I mean NO!) for her in this household! Em has always struggled with a sensitive tummy, so I was a little cautious about giving her something new, but I am pretty sure that she will now be requesting her new favorite Freshpet dinner every day of the week!

 Look at all those carrots!!!!!

Emmy got to try out their newest item, Freshpet® Select Roasted Meals . The ingredients below show you just how good this dog food is for your pet!

Guys – My dog’s food is probably healthier than my own food! And, Emmy being happy and healthy is the best part! Her coat is gorgeous, she is full of energy, and she is even more excited about breakfast and dinner than she was before!

TIPS!!!!

Before you jump into changing your doggies food, be sure to take a couple precautions. They’re just like babies, you’ve got to transition them slowly and make sure there aren’t any major allergies you might not know about. Because Emmy has a pretty sensitive stomach, I started out by adding in a small handful of the Fresh Pet food into her regular bowl. After monitoring her for that first day to make sure there weren’t any major issues, I started adding/replacing more. We ended up with half a bowl of her dry/crunchy food topped with some of her Fresh Pet food. She loved it and ate it up as fast as she could (surprise!).

Be sure to never completely switch your dog’s food all at once. It can be difficult on their stomach and you may notice a change in their stools or an upset stomach if you do this. Slowly introduce it and monitor them!

For those in the US, Canada, or the United Kingdom search the Store Locator to find a store near you!
