Recently, a good friend of mine left the buisness world behind to follow her dreams. She opened her own clothing boutique in down town Bay City called Ferne Boutique. It was named after her grandmother, and she has the most adorable clothing for very reasonable prices. If you are in the area, you must check it out. I snagged this ridiculously comfortable grey jersey dress from her and it is perfect for running errands, work, or a night out on the town.

Don't leave your favorite dresses behind this fall. It's easy to transition your dresses into cooler weather with a little bit of layering. Currently in Pittsburgh, it has been nice and brisk in the morning and evenings, but warm during the day. Layering jackets, sweaters, and flannels over your favorite dresses allows you to continue wearing your favorite pieces throughout the fall.

If your petite like me, flowy dresses can really consume you. This is especially true if you're small chested as well. To help ensure the volume doesn't swallow you up, pair your dress with a jacket or a shirt tied around your waist. It will help give you some definition and curves! This look can work on all body types though, so don't be afraid to try it!

Take your dress from day-to-night by adding in your favorite botties, a leather jacket, and a scarf. This is by far my favorite look of the three, and I cannot wait to rock this for a future date night!
